The folio wall
A folio is a page pressed under glass. It stops taking ink and starts keeping it. Glass a new page over the old when the story changes, and the older lines stay legible underneath. A folio is not read the day it is glassed: it seasons, liquid, until a stone day passes — the 13th or the 26th — and then it goes clear.

Make one
- Listen and doodle. A stream, a talk, a room — let the hand keep what the ear lets through.
- Cluster. Collage the ideas that turned out to hold together.
- Glass it. Laminate the page — pressure and heat. No table or laminator? A flat digital image is a folio too.
- Season. Wait for a stone day. A folio glassed cold or rushed clouds.
- Paint, and sit with it. Paint goes on the glass, over what was kept. A folio is finished by attention.
- Scan it, and send it in. Write a slip from your desk naming the chapter it stands near. It goes up here, layered if you update it.
